Welcome to the Teaching and Learning website of Oglethorpe County Schools. Teaching and Learning is the "heartbeat" of our school system! In addition to all local and state assessments and all instructional software, the department also facilitates a number of student support areas. These areas include: English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Gifted Education, Migrant Education, Multi-Tiered System of Supports, and Section 504. See the tabs to the right to access more information about each of the assessments and student support areas.
Additionally, the Department of Teaching and Learning oversees the Kindergarten through 12th grade core program delivery, including reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. Oversight also includes the areas of art, music, physical education, counseling, and school media services.
This section also contains access to an overview of curriculum documents and resources.
